Consider the following passage:
Although heavy meat consumption has always been a staple of the American diet, it is a disadvantage in more ways than one. For one thing, the center-focus of meat on the plate has failed to test our culinary creativity. Furthermore, the meat industry is horrible for the environment. Despite the fact that meat can be a great source of protein, too much meat can lead to indigestion. Thus, Americans should begin to limit their meat consumption.
